If you still decide to give preference to water, then it is worth preparing it. Tap water is not suitable for electrode devices, only distilled water. To measure resistance, you should take an ammeter.

Adjustment of water conductivity begins as follows. Turn on the unit and after half a minute at a “return” temperature of 15-20 ° C, measure the starting current with an ammeter or current clamp. The unit is turned off. Several situations are possible: the starting current is less than, greater than, or equal to the table value.

When the results are not as desired, and the current is less than the calculated one, add a salt-containing solution - one teaspoon of salt per hundred liters in one step.

When the calculated values ​​are higher than normal, use only pure distilled water, this will correct its resistivity. This is an important indicator for the quality operation of the electrodes.
